Quantity Surveyor - Water Infrastructure

Quantity Surveyor Location: Chatham Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure / Water About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Commercial team based in Chatham. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for several key accounts on a major project or oversee the commercial and financial management of smaller schemes. Key Responsibilities Prepare applications, valuations and cost value reconciliations. Manage project cost control and forecasting. Produce and contribute to monthly commercial reports, including value, cost, profit/loss and cash flow. Manage supply chain relationships and subcontractors. Support risk and value management processes to optimise project outcomes. Mentor and provide commercial guidance to project teams. Administer contracts, budgets and commercial software systems. Prepare subcontract enquiries, negotiate terms and manage subcontract agreements. Ensure contractual documentation and project notifications are maintained accurately. Escalate any safety-related commercial risks to site management. Liaise regularly with site teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
