New exclusive Quantity Surveyor position in central Kent

• Position: Quantity Surveyor
• Salary: £ negotiable and dependent upon experience
• Package: £6,000 - £7,500 car allowance (dependent upon level), 5% pension, 25 days holiday and private healthcare.

• Location: Central Kent

This contractor is a central Kent construction company that is very well established and deliver a broad range of projects across Kent and neighbouring counties.

Projects typically range in value from £250,000 - £3 million with a repeat client base.

The Quantity Surveyor role:

• Managing commercial activities on a range of construction projects.
• Procurement and placing subcontractor orders.
• Pricing variations, preparation of valuations, negotiating and ongoing final accounting for contractor and client accounts.
• Cash flows and cost reporting.
• Attending site meetings and client meetings.

About you:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or civil engineering contractor.
• Qualified to a HNC level or above.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and reporting skills.
