Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Rail

Leading international engineering company is looking for either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level candidate for a long term contract opportunity. This position will see you work on a major engineering programme in Dublin which is being delivered from the UK but, will require travel to Ireland for a couple of days every fortnight with all expenses paid. We are looking for candidates who ideally have experience of procurement through to contract management using the NEC contract within a rail or infrastructure sector.Key Responsibilities:Manage, monitor and report on commercial and cost reporting aspects of allocated projects and portfolio of worksSupport the programme and project teams to ensure full compliance with contract and corporate governance rulesLead on commercial review and valuation of contractor applications for payment in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and contractual entitlementProvide proactive advice and guidance on all change including proposed scope changesProduce appropriate commercial correspondence and contractual notices for issue in accordance with contractual conditionsContract administration of industry standard and bespoke forms of contract including NEC and ICC termsEnsure that commercial records are retained and archived properlyManage the final account settlementsSupport in the pre-contract procurement of suppliers/main contractors and consultants for projects and programmesJob Requirements:Educated to a ..... full job details .....
