An award-winning, privately owned developer with a track record of success and a reputation for attracting top industry talent is looking to expand its commercial team. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the housebuilding sector.

The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects – from site procurement through to final account. You’ll be working on a variety of residential schemes and will be fully involved in all aspects of cost planning and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and issuing trade specifications and tender packages
- Tender analysis and subcontractor appointment
- Managing subcontractor packages and attending pre-start meetings
- Ensuring health and safety compliance is in place pre-construction
- Budget management and cost reporting
- Site measurements, valuations, and managing final accounts
- Liaising with internal and external teams to drive commercial success
What We''re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housebuilding/residential development sector
- Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Ability to run your own projects independently
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence (regular site travel required)
