Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading consultancy delivering a diverse portfolio of major construction and development schemes across London and the wider UK. With projects spanning multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, defence, public sector, infrastructure and mixed-use developments, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial and cost management of projects from early feasibility and pre-contract stages through to final account. Responsibilities will include cost planning, procurement, tender preparation, contract administration, valuations, variations, change control, cost reporting, risk management and final accounts, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and wider project teams. Experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts, public-sector procurement and major project frameworks would be advantageous.

About You

We welcome applications from Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors with experience in a construction consultancy, consultancy or contractor environment. Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, strong commercial awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to project delivery.
