Quantity Surveyor (Mid, Senior, or Director)

About the Company FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor. Extremely exciting time to join a large company that has recently partnered with another major company. About the Role There are 3 roles available - Experienced QS or Senior QS or Assistant Director QS. Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow. Responsibilities Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio. Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and feasibility studies. Manage procurement exercises, tender documentation and tender analysis. Produce cost reports, valuations and payment recommendations. Maintain effective financial control throughout each project. Lead value engineering, risk management and change-control processes. Negotiate and agree final accounts. Manage projects from initial feasibility through to completion. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors. Mentor junior surveyors and support their professional development. Contribute to business development and help secure new opportunities. Qualifications MRICS Chartered status is ideal Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Approximately five years'' post-qualification experience within a consultancy. Required Skills Strong pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
