Quantity Surveyor

Our Water and Utilities client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering water mains renewal and infrastructure projects across the Thames Water network on a permanent basis out of Maple Cross offices (Rickmansworth) As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of a portfolio of capital works projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate forecasting, contract administration, and risk management. Working closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving value and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Manage the commercial and cost control aspects of water mains renewal projects across the Thames Water framework.Assist with project budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Provide commercial and contractual support to operational and project delivery teams.Administer NEC contracts and support the management of contractual obligations and risks.Prepare valuations, applications for payment, compensation events, and variations.Monitor project performance and identify commercial risks and opportunities.Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts.Support procurement activities and subcontractor management.Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.Produce accurate monthly commercial reports and project forecasts.Contribute to continuous ..... full job details .....
