Quantity Surveyor

Due to ongoing growth and a varied pipeline of work, our client is looking to speak with Quantity Surveyors to support its construction business Country Durham. Working across both new-build and refurbishment projects, this is an opportunity to join an established contractor delivering a diverse range of construction schemes. The Role Working closely with the wider commercial, project management and site teams, you will play an important role in the commercial management of construction projects from inception through to completion. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with or managing the commercial aspects of new-build and refurbishment projects, depending on experience. Monitoring project costs, budgets and expenditure to help ensure schemes are delivered within agreed financial targets. Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, valuations and financial reports. Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and variations. Reviewing contractual documentation and helping manage commercial risks.
