Quantity Surveyor

We''re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Raigmore Hospital team based in Inverness. Location: Raigmore Hospital, Inverness Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. You''ll be joining our team delivering ongoing works at Raigmore Hospital, working closely with the project team and client to deliver a long-term programme of upgrades, improvements and refurbishments on an extensive healthcare facility. This is an opportunity to contribute effectively to the management and mitigation of cost and risk whilst enhancing value for money and achieving required legal standards and quality. What will you be responsible for? As a Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be working within the Raigmore Hospital team, supporting them in delivering a long-term programme of upgrades, improvements and refurbishments. Your day to day will include: Organising projects into component work packages for procurement and assessing returns from sub-contractors Negotiating with the sub-contractor supply chain to achieve best value Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports Managing applications for payment from ..... full job details .....
