Your new company A well-established and highly respected construction contractor with a strong presence across Northern Ireland is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. With offices in both Cookstown and Belfast, the business delivers a diverse portfolio of construction projects across the commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role within the commercial team, taking responsibility for the financial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Clients and Subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.Key responsibilities will include:Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plansProcurement and management of subcontractor packagesMeasurement and valuation of worksPreparation and submission of interim applications and final accountsCost reporting and forecastingIdentifying and managing project risks and opportunitiesAssessment and agreement of subcontractor valuationsManaging change control procedures and variationsMaintaining commercial relationships with clients and stakeholdersEnsuring projects are delivered within budget and ..... full job details .....
