FREELANCE Quantity Surveyor role, MAINTENANCE CONTRACTORYour new companyYou''ll be working with a respected main contractor delivering complex projects across the built environment. They are currently in the final stages of a scheme that was originally expected to be straightforward but has since developed delays, claims, and commercial pressures. With the project approaching its close, they require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can step in immediately and take full commercial control to drive the job over the finish line.Your new roleYou will take the lead on all commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring it is closed out efficiently, accurately, and profitably. Key responsibilities include:Managing and negotiating claimsHandling delay analysis and associated commercial impactsClosing down the project and finalising the accountIdentifying, managing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risksManaging client relationships and maintaining strong communicationEnsuring maximum value recovery and protecting project marginProviding clear reporting and commercial leadership to the project teamThis is a freelance role, starting immediately, with a strong expectation of full-time commitment until project completion.What you''ll need to succeedProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in main contractingStrong background in claims management, delay issues, and final account closureExcellent commercial acumen with a track record of improving ..... full job details .....
