With a Central London office located in serviced space in Blackfriars and a project team operating from Canterbury, you’ll have the flexibility to base yourself in London while visiting the site when required.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background to take on responsibility across a mix of projects, including:
CP7 Minor Works Lot 8 (target cost / cost reimbursable)
Standalone piling packages
Coastal and sea defence schemes for Tier 1 clients
You’ll be reporting to the Commercial Director and expected to manage 2–3 projects or key accounts independently, contributing commercially from tender through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
Typical Quantity Surveying duties will include:
Contract administration and commercial management of infrastructure projects
Managing target cost and cost reimbursable frameworks
Forecasting, cost reporting, and monthly CVRs
Subcontractor procurement and account management
Supporting KPI reporting and client-facing commercial meetings
Liaising with site, project, and client teams
Working autonomously while escalating key issues to the Commercial Director
Experience Required
Background in infrastructure – ideally in rail (Network Rail) or civils
Understanding of target cost / NEC contracts
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
