Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a well-established main contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their office in Dungannon. With a strong reputation across construction, civil engineering, and fit-out, they deliver a wide range of projects across the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to work on some really exciting projects. You will be working closely with the wider Commercial team in a rewarding environment, you will play a key role within the team in delivering quality and value for money projects to our clients. Role Responsibilities

• Negotiate and appoint sub-contractors.
• Manage sub-contractor packages from appointment to final account.
• Prepare and submit valuations and variations.
• Work closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to review progress, quality, and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and information management systems.
• Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the role.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years'' experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC.
• Ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and meet deadlines independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Full UK driving licence.
