Opportunity

As a Quantity Surveyor within the consultancy’s prime residential team, you’ll work on a wide variety of projects valued between £400k and £4m. These include infrastructure schemes, refurbishments, new builds, housing developments, and school-based work. You’ll be trusted with full lifecycle commercial delivery — from tendering and cost planning through to completion and final account.

Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the commercial process, including:

• Preparing and submitting tenders and cost plans
• Procuring subcontractors and managing budgets
• Preparing contracts (NEC, JCT, bespoke)
• Managing valuations, payments, and final accounts
• Providing commercial advice and maintaining client relationships
• Overseeing junior staff and promoting best practice

You’ll need strong communication, numerical, and IT skills, plus experience with SMM7, NRM2, and software such as Onscreen Takeoff or Bluebeam Conquest would be a bonus.
