Quantity Surveyor

We’re working with a forward-thinking construction business delivering high-quality projects across the commercial construction sector. With a strong reputation for excellence, collaboration, and innovation, their growing — and are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in managing project costs and ensuring commercial success. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients, you’ll take ownership of budgets, contracts, and cost controls from tender to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets and forecasts

• Conduct cost analysis and provide commercial advice

• Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure best value

• Manage procurement processes and contract administration

• Ensure compliance with all contractual and legal requirements

• Support the delivery of projects on time and within budget

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry with a minimum of 3 years quantity surveying in the UK.

• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT / NEC)

• Excellent numeracy, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Strong commercial acumen with attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
