Quantity Surveyor Worcester Location: Worcester Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Sector: Construction / Social Housing / Property Maintenance The Opportunity We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established contractor for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with experience in construction, social housing, repairs and maintenance or refurbishment who is looking for a new challenge with a well-established organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of projects and contracts, ensuring works are delivered within budget while maximising commercial performance and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-contract through to final account. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial performance of allocated projects and contracts. Preparing and reviewing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Managing variations, valuations and compensation events where applicable. Preparing and monitoring project budgets and forecasts.
