Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with an established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a varied portfolio of public and private sector projects across London and the South East, with project values ranging from approximately £500,000 to £40 million. The successful candidate will be involved across both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying, working closely with senior members of the team and taking responsibility for delivering high-quality commercial advice to clients. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Cost estimating in accordance with NRM1 Procurement and tendering Working with the JCT suite of contracts Project financial control and reporting Valuations Risk management Providing Quantity Surveying advice across both pre and post-contract stages Developing and maintaining strong client relationships Identifying opportunities for further business development About You The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 3 years'' relevant professional consultancy experience Strong Quantity Surveying experience across the full range of professional services Previous experience working on public sector projects MRICS qualification preferred Good knowledge of JCT contracts Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ..... full job details .....
