Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to work on some of the UK''s most significant infrastructure projects? Conrad Consulting is working with a leading UK infrastructure contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support major projects across rail, aviation, defence and other safety-critical sectors. This is an opportunity to take a senior commercial role across high-profile projects, working with major clients and multidisciplinary teams while playing a key role in delivering essential UK infrastructure. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you ll take a lead role in the commercial and financial management of projects, from pre-construction through to final account. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets and forecasts Leading commercial and contract administration Managing procurement and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors Identifying and managing commercial risks Preparing and presenting monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) Managing change and ensuring recovery of additional cost and/or time Supporting project teams with commercial and financial reporting Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders Mentoring and supporting junior Quantity Surveyors Ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme About You You ll ideally have: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline Significant Quantity Surveying experience within civil engineering or ..... full job details .....
