Rate: £54 per hour (£405 P/D) Umbrella PAYE Location: Canary Wharf, London Contract: Contract Working Pattern: Hybrid / Project BasedAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a major infrastructure contractor and support the commercial delivery of a significant project?Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Canary Wharf, taking responsibility for cost and commercial management across their area of the project.Job Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the wider commercial and project teams to manage costs, income and commercial performance while ensuring value for money and maintaining required project standards.Key responsibilities will include: Managing project costs, income and commercial performancePreparing Activity Schedules and Resource SchedulesReviewing and analysing tender and contract documentationMonitoring subcontractor activities and managing supply-chain commercial mattersPreparing commercial reports, progress updates and financial reconciliationsAnalysing rates and prices and agreeing variations and compensation eventsPreparing, submitting and negotiating claimsReviewing complex contract programmes and supporting delay and disruption assessmentsSupporting procurement programmes and strategyManaging commercial relationships with clients, stakeholders and the supply chainSupporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where required Requirements Previous ..... full job details .....
