Quantity Surveyor

A full-time opportunity exists for a commercially astute, Quantity Surveyor, with an international tier one Contractor in northern Wales. Be part of an iconic project to rid the countryside of unsightly archaic energy transporting structures. Your ability to responsibly supervise the commercial functions of a section on a major project is sought. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, your duties will include To carry out commercial tasks and present results in an orderly and accurate format To contribute to a result as agreed with local commercial management To protect the company s position throughout 360-degree relationships To prepare stand- alone sections of applications and reports To review incoming accounts and correspondence and react accordingly To manage specified subcontract accounts and support senior commercial staff in negotiations To manage and mentor junior staff Requirements for this opportunity include BSc Quantity Surveying or similar Previous recent experience working for a tier one UK contractor on a major civil engineering project Solid NEC experience A detailed understanding of the general and specific contract and subcontract terms Proven subcontractor management Take personal responsibility for delivering services Pursue a can-do attitude in all the work you can deliver RICS If you are interested in this post, then kindly lodge your CV here now. ..... full job details .....
