Quantity Surveyor

A leading UK construction and property services organisation is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the successful commercial delivery of projects across its portfolio. Working closely with the Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor, you ll focus on maximising project margin, controlling commercial risk and maintaining strong relationships with clients and the supply chain. The Role As the Quantity Surveyor, you ll: Manage the commercial aspects of assigned projects or workstreams. Maximise planned gross margin and support overall project profitability. Tender, evaluate and appoint subcontractors and consultants. Manage material and plant orders within agreed commercial controls. Identify, negotiate and agree contract variations with clients and suppliers. Measure and value works, supporting accurate customer invoicing and supplier payments. Manage project cash flow, valuations and commercial reporting. Identify contractual, commercial and operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigation. Support the resolution of contractual disputes and commercial issues. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider supply chain.
