Quality Technician

A leading manufacturer is seeking a

Quality Assurance Technician

to support its factory Quality System. This role offers a great opportunity to join a supportive and close-knit team, where you’ll be the dedicated Quality Technician on shift, ensuring high standards of compliance, product quality, and safety.What You’ll Do as a Quality Assurance Technician:

Conduct internal audits of quality systems, including product checks, hygiene, 5S, glass, and insect audits.Maintain and supervise quality records and retained samples.Manage quarantined materials, keeping accurate records and communicating with relevant staff.Control positive release processes.Perform material analysis for product development and corrective actions.Inspect and test products, including quarantined and new materials, reporting results to the Quality and Technical Manager.Support quality administration and contribute to cross-functional quality initiatives.Provide cover for holidays, sickness, and weekends as required.Take part in improvement projects, including World Class Manufacturing (WCM).Shift, Pay and Benefits of a Quality Assurance Technician:

Shift pattern:

4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights), 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am) with a 1-hour paid break.Pay:

£13.43 per hour.Overtime:

1.5x (standard) / 2.0x (Sundays and Bank Holidays).Bonus:

Gainshare up to 5% of earnings every quarter, linked to site KPIs.Free parking and accessible commute from nearby areasAbout You:

Experience in a quality or manufacturing environment is desirable.Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation skills.Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.Flexible and willing to support shift cover when needed.Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.Why Join Us?
