Do you have experience working as a Quality Technician? Can you use handheld mechanical calibration instruments? Do you want to work a days based role for a manufacturing company? This would be the role for you!As Quality Technician you will be responsible for the process inspection of components, sub-assembled products, finished goods, packing and labels and incoming materials. You need to be able to use and calibrate standard measuring equipment, read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
Inspection of raw material, component parts, final devices and packaging using precision measuring equipmentDrive inspection process and technique improvements and participate in problem solving activitiesMaintaining good working practices ensuring all measurement equipment is calibrated, identified and located correctlyEnsuring documentation is completed in accordance with good manufacturing practicesIdentification, containment and documentation of all defective/non-conforming product. Raising non-conformances as requiredSkills and Experience
Experience using precision measuring equipment. i.e. Verniers, shadowgraph etcMeticulous attention to detail for a demanding customer base with very tight tolerancesAble to plan, schedule and complete tasks to meet deadlines.Previous experience in engineering and inspection in a manufacturing environment.If this role could appeal please do apply ..... full job details .....
