Position: Quality TechnicianLocation: GaydonSalary: 18 per hour PAYEWe are supporting a prestigious automotive manufacturer in Gaydon, Warwickshire, and are seeking an Automotive Quality Technician to join their Supplier Parts Quality team.This is a hands-on, production-based role focused on investigating supplier component concerns, implementing rapid containment and resolving quality issues to minimise disruption to production.Benefits and Key information include: 18.00 per hour PAYEInitial 3-6 month contract, with strong likelihood for ongoing extensionsSite-based in Gaydon, Warwickshire39 hours per weekMonday-Thursday: 06:30-15:30 / Friday: 06:30-11:30Opportunity to work within a prestigious automotive manufacturing environmentRole OverviewWorking within the Supplier Parts Quality team, you''ll provide hands-on support to quickly identify, contain and resolve supplier-related quality issues within a fast-paced automotive production environment.Investigate supplier part and production quality concernsAssess dimensional, cosmetic, functional and fit-related defectsCarry out containment, segregation and authorised component reworkUse inspection equipment including Vernier calipers, micrometers and gap and flush gaugesInterpret engineering drawings, CAD information and GDandT specificationsSupport root cause investigation and structured problem-solvingWork closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and supplier teams to resolve issues quicklyEssential ExperienceAutomotive ..... full job details .....
