Quality Systems Manager Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Systems Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with strong food safety and compliance experience to take ownership of the site''s Quality Management System (QMS) and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Head of Technical, you will be responsible for ensuring the business remains audit-ready, continuously improving quality systems, and supporting a culture of food safety and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage and continuously improve the site''s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure ongoing compliance with BRCGS, retailer, customer, and regulatory requirements. Maintain and update quality procedures, policies, and controlled documentation. Lead HACCP activities, food safety risk assessments, and allergen management programmes. Conduct gap analyses against customer requirements, industry standards, and codes of practice. Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Support food safety culture initiatives, crisis management procedures, and product recall processes. Prepare for and participate in customer, third-party, and regulatory audits.
