We''re looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of quality at a busy manufacturing site, leading the quality team and driving improvements across the operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to manufacturing, working with engineering and operations, solving problems and making sure quality is built into the process - not simply dealt with afterwards.

You''ll have responsibility for the site Quality Management System, maintaining ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 standards while identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce defects and deliver consistently high standards for customers.

• Leading, coaching and developing the site quality team
• Taking ownership of the QMS and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance
• Leading internal and external audits and ensuring corrective actions are completed effectively
• Driving reductions in defects, non-conformances and customer complaints
• Leading root cause analysis and implementing robust corrective and preventative actions
• Working closely with manufacturing, engineering and other teams to improve Right First Time performance
• Using quality data and trends to identify problems before they become bigger issues
• Driving continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Monitoring key quality measures including defect rates, customer complaints, audit performance and cost of poor quality
• Supporting wider site compliance, safety and operational improvement initiatives

You''ll already have strong quality leadership experience within manufacturing or another regulated environment and be comfortable taking ownership of quality across a site.

You''ll ideally bring:

• 5+ years'' experience within Quality, including team leadership
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems
• Experience of ISO 9001 and ideally ISO 13485
• A strong manufacturing background
• Experience managing audits, NCRs, CAPAs and root cause investigations
• Lean / Six Sigma or wider continuous improvement experience
• Confidence working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams
• A practical, data-led approach to problem solving
• The ability to lead change and bring people with you
