Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. The role will have responsibility for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, customer quality, supplier quality, inspection, non-conformance and continual improvement. The successful candidate will be technically strong, commercially aware and comfortable working directly with both customers and production teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Manage internal, external and customer audits. Act as the key quality contact for customers. Manage customer complaints, returns, concessions and corrective actions. Lead 8D, RCA, CAPA and NCR processes. Identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GDandT requirements. Oversee inspection, testing, measurement and product release. Manage FAI/FAIR, inspection plans and control plans. Maintain calibration, measurement and traceability systems. Support CMM, metrology and precision inspection activities. Manage supplier quality, supplier corrective actions and supplier performance. Support supplier audits and approval processes. Monitor quality KPIs, including scrap, rework, complaints and Cost of Poor Quality. Lead continuous improvement and quality improvement projects. Support FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and MSA activities where applicable. Experience and ..... full job details .....
