Quality Lead Location: Blyth, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full-time Working Arrangement: On-site Sector: Data Centres / Major Construction Projects About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to join the project team on a major data centre development in Blyth, UK. The Quality Lead will take responsibility for ensuring that mechanical works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the construction team, subcontractors, consultants and wider project stakeholders, you will lead QA/QC activities, monitor quality performance, manage inspections and documentation, and ensure quality issues are effectively resolved and closed out. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure mechanical installations comply with project specifications, drawings and applicable industry standards. Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping and associated services. Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure quality requirements are consistently achieved. Review and approve Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and technical submittals. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements.
