Quality Lead

This-is-a-senior-role-with-responsibility-for-ensuring-that-quality-is-embedded-throughout-the-learner-journeyfrom-initial-assessment-and-enrolment-through-teaching,-learning,-workplace-assessment,-progress-reviews-and-gateway-to-successful-completion-and-End-Point-Assessment.

The-successful-candidate-will-provide-both-strategic-and-operational-leadership-across-quality-assurance-and-improvement,-ensuring-that-the-organisation-maintains-robust-systems,-responds-effectively-to-performance-data-and-continuously-improves-the-experience-and-outcomes-of-apprentices-and-employers.

You-will-have-a-strong-understanding-of-apprenticeships,-Ofsted-expectations-and-quality-improvement-and-will-be-confident-working-with-senior-leaders,-curriculum-teams,-assessors,-employers-and-external-stakeholders.

Key-Responsibilities

• Lead-the-organisation''s-quality-assurance-and-continuous-improvement-strategy-across-apprenticeship-provision.
• Lead-the-development,-implementation-and-ongoing-review-of-the-Self-Assessment-Report-(SAR)-and-Quality-Improvement-Plan-(QIP).
• Maintain-organisational-readiness-for-Ofsted-inspection-and-ensure-teams-understand-current-inspection-expectations.
• Analyse-performance-and-quality-data-to-identify-trends,-risks-and-areas-requiring-intervention.
• Produce-clear-quality-reports-and-recommendations-for-the-senior-leadership-team-and-governance.
• Lead-quality-assurance-of-teaching,-learning,-assessment-and-progress-reviews.
• Develop-and-maintain-an-effective-programme-of-quality-observations,-learning-walks,-deep-dives,-file-audits-and-standardisation.
• Ensure-assessors-and-tutors-provide-apprentices-with-timely,-constructive-and-developmental-feedback.
• Ensure-apprentices-develop-and-can-demonstrate-the-required-knowledge,-skills-and-behaviours-throughout-their-programme.
• Monitor-the-quality-and-effectiveness-of-off-the-job-training-and-ensure-this-is-appropriately-planned,-delivered-and-evidenced.
• Ensure-compliance-with-relevant-awarding-organisation-and-qualification-requirements.
• Work-closely-with-curriculum-and-delivery-teams-to-maintain-high-standards-across-Dental-Nursing-provision.
• Analyse-achievement,-EPA-and-first-time-pass-performance-and-implement-improvement-activity-where-required.
• Monitor-complaints,-concerns-and-appeals-to-identify-recurring-themes,-root-causes-and-opportunities-for-organisational-improvement.
• Support-the-organisation-in-maintaining-effective-safeguarding,-Prevent,-equality,-diversity-and-inclusion-arrangements-from-a-quality-and-assurance-perspective.
• Ensure-the-needs-of-apprentices-with-SEND,-additional-learning-needs-or-other-barriers-to-learning-are-appropriately-identified-and-supported.
• Work-closely-with-the-Designated-Safeguarding-Lead-to-ensure-safeguarding-practice-is-embedded-throughout-the-learner-journey.
• Support-safer-recruitment,-staff-induction-and-ongoing-professional-development-from-a-quality-assurance-perspective.

• Experience-developing-and-managing-SARs-and-QIPs.
