Quality Lead - Precast

JOB PURPOSE: To establish, manage, and continuously improve quality assurance systems within the precast concrete manufacturing operation. The Quality Lead will ensure all products comply with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of quality excellence throughout the business. JOB RELATED TASKS: Demonstrate the ability to work safely and ensure a proactive approach to a safety culture. Responsible for facility quality management systems and its installation. Oversees product inspection, testing, and compliance activities. Supports customer, supplier, and regulatory audits. JOB DUTIES: Quality Assurance Develop and maintain quality systems and procedures. Ensure product compliance with specifications and standards. Monitor production quality and identify improvement opportunities. To ensure that mix designs meet the required standard. Monitor and report the concrete curing timelines and temperatures. Inspection and Testing Manage inspection and testing activities. Complete pre-cast mould checks. Approve all moulds for casting relating to the QA pre-mould inspection criteria. Verify compliance of finished products. Review and approve quality documentation. Approve all product based on sample testing percentage. Generate daily reports relating to quality and ensure they are distributed to the correct people. Continuous Improvement Analyse quality trends and performance data. Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions. ..... full job details .....
