Quality Inspector

Quality Inspection- Reporting to QHSE Manager(Glasgow - Up to 38K per annum (37 hours) First Achieve Engineering are acting on behalf of our client, a well-established specialistengineering manufacturer based in the Glasgow South area,We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their manufacturingoperation on a permanent basis.About the RoleReporting directly to the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out in-processand final inspection in line with established quality processes and procedures. Due to thevaried nature of the position, you will also be expected to support other quality-relatedactivities and reporting duties when required.Key Responsibilities include Carrying out in-process and final inspection of manufactured components. Inspect products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and qualityprocedures. Produce accurate inspection reports and associated documentation. Ensure components meet specified fits, clearances and tolerances. Work closely with the QHSE function to maintain and improve quality standards. Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements. Assist with wider quality functions when required.Essential Skills and Experience Previous experience working within a Quality Inspection role in anengineering/manufacturing environment.
