Quality Inspector

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a short-term contract based in the south of the UK for a well-known aerospace client focused on the production and manufacturing of specialist components and parts.Throughout this contract, you will be responsible for the inspection of aerospace components, ensuring that the product conforms to customer expectations and standards, whilst partaking in their material review board and the approval of work instructions.Responsibilities

Granting certificates of conformity to approved materials and componentsMaintaining AS9100 system requirementsMonitoring and review of operating procedures to ensure effectiveness and complianceRecognise areas in need of continuous improvementParticipation in New Product IntroductionInspection across work functions such as engineering drawings, work instructions, and job cardsIn addition to the mentioned responsibilities, our client is looking for prior experience within an aerospace environment as well as knowledge of FAIR\''s and CMM PCDMAS machinery.
