We are recruiting a Quality Inspector for our reputable clientLocation: CorshamSalary: £40000Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-1:00pmOvertime: Available if requiredAbout our Client hiring a Quality Inspector:An established precision engineering company with over 60 years of manufacturing experience. They operate from modern facilities and are looking to grow and expand their team.Key Responsibilities as a Quality Inspector:Inspect precision components using metrology and manual measurement equipmentMeasure components to supplied CAD models and engineering drawingsCreate, run and output measurements from CMM programs where requiredMaintain calibration and tooling records for measurement equipmentWork confidently with engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, revisions, symbols and layoutsCarry out inspection in line with ISO 9001 or higher manufacturing standardsProvide feedback to Production Engineering to improve programs and machining methodsSupport health and safety standards across the siteRequirements for the Quality Inspector role:Minimum 2 years'' experience inspecting precision componentsExperience working in a manufacturing environment to ISO 9001 or higher, such as AS9100Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsGood understanding of geometric tolerances, revisions, symbols and layoutsCompetent using manual inspection and metrology equipmentGood Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and WordExcellent communication ..... full job details .....
