Quality Inspector

Attends the shift handover meetings communicating the current situation and status of current open non-conformance (fault notes and isolations) which they have been involved in during the shift Conduct CCP verification checks. Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run. Confirm the appropriate specifications and documentation is in place and being completed correctly. Accurately record data in the electronic quality databases system (CAQ) - Where failings are identified escalate to Management for investigation before the end of the shift. Conduct laboratory based analytical testing, as required to support material or colour changes during evenings To carry out diligently those duties as requested by the management in accordance with good Health and Safety and quality and food safety practices. To ensure that laboratory and Quality station housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
