Quality EngineerPermanentExcellent Salary + BenefitsLocation:MinworthFollowing continued growth and investment, our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Quality Engineer to join their Quality Operations team based in Minworth.As a key member of the quality function, you will act as the Voice of the Customer, leading quality improvement activities, supporting customer escalations, driving robust corrective actions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality performance across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with automotive manufacturing experience and a background in plastics injection moulding to join a forward-thinking organisation committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary customer contact and Voice of the Customer.Lead and support customer escalation activities.Coordinate the method, timing, and evaluation of 8D and CCAR activities.Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports, including PPM, incident rates, 8D status, and customer scorecards.Drive corrective actions through to robust closure.Provide support and guidance to Quality Technicians.Support containment management activities and wider business objectives.Assist in identifying training needs within the quality team.Manage Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) initiatives.Promote and share quality best practices across the business.Deputise for the Senior Quality Engineer when required.Ensure quality systems ..... full job details .....
