Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Location: Dagenham, London Salary: Up to £45k Job Type: Full Time, PermanentWorking Hours: Mon-Fri The Role Quality Engineer Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and improving quality performance across manufacturing operations, ensuring customer requirements are met and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business. Working closely with internal departments and external customers, you will manage quality activities, support new product introduction processes, investigate quality concerns, and ensure quality systems and documentation are maintained to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Quality EngineerSupport and monitor quality performance within the assigned production area.Respond to and coordinate customer quality queries and concerns.Lead and support APQP activities, including the development of FMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams and GRandR studies.Complete customer PPAP submissions to required standards and timescales.Manage product and process changes, ensuring quality requirements are effectively implemented.Support root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
