Quality Engineer

Our client, a precision engineering firm based in Rochester, are growing and are looking to add a proactive, analytical, detail-oriented Quality Engineer to their Quality team. As a Quality Engineer you will work closely with the Quality Manager, and existing Quality Engineer, to ensure their products, processes, and systems consistently meet or exceed established quality, safety, and reliability standards. Your expertise will play a vital role in determining the standards the products are tested against, and collaborating with production teams, to establish root causes and ensure Corrective/Preventive actions are generated and documented when issues arise. Main responsibilities include: Supplier approval status CAPA (RCCA) system Standards and specifications management APQP Documentation control First article inspection Concession management Supporting customer visits Supporting supplier visits Supporting manufacturing team units Attending daily production meeting for problem resolution New product introduction support PPAP Running internal audits Running customer audits Risk register updating MRP generating and maintaining manufacturing routes Contract review Configuration control Record keeping Systems development Wider responsibilities will be shared, and ..... full job details .....
