Quality Engineer (6-month FTC)

Fortress Recruit is working with a leading global manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer for a 6-month fixed term contract, to join their established team in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for customer and supplier quality matters Lead customer complaints, concessions and 8D investigations through to completion Lead FAIRs, support PPAP submissions and contribute to APQP activities during new product introduction Produce FAIR documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements Conduct internal, supplier and customer audits to ISO9001 and AS9100 standards Support customer audits and ensure corrective actions are completed on time Lead change management activities across manufacturing processes Review customer quality requirements and ensure these are effectively communicated internally Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supplier performance Support Quality Management System activities and maintain compliance with aerospace standards Assist with incoming inspection, final inspection and non conforming product management when required Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, technical, customer service and commercial teams To be considered for this role, you''ll have: ..... full job details .....
