Quality Control Operator

Our client is a leading global manufacturing company within the food and additives industry, and due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Quality Control Operator to join their busy manufacturing facility in Stafford. Hours and Pay Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Day Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:00am 4:30pm You must be flexible to support business requirements and may be required to work night shifts when needed. Night Shift Pattern (when required): Week 1: Sunday to Wednesday Week 2: Monday to Wednesday Shift Hours: 7:00pm 7:00am Key Responsibilities Daily calibration of testing equipment Preparation of samples for external microbiological testing Storing and maintaining retained samples Testing production samples in line with product specifications Recording test results electronically Completing quality results paperwork accurately Testing New Product Development (NPD) samples Collecting and storing samples for customer testing requirements Collating samples from the production area Validating line paperwork against finished products and identifying any discrepancies Weekly testing of scales and thermometers Setting up shelf-life trials as required Carrying out daily GMP audits Completing daily paperwork inspections Performing labelling verification checks Supporting the production and quality teams to maintain required standards Carrying out any other duties as requested by management Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will be able to ..... full job details .....
