Quality Control Inspector / Quality Inspector Salary: Competitive Hours: 37 hours per week Monday-Friday Flexible start and finish times Location: Kidderminster Overview: Are you an experienced Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector or Mechanical Inspector with a background in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or machining? We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality team, responsible for inspecting materials, components and finished products throughout the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on inspection role covering Goods Inwards, in-process inspection, fabrication, machining, testing and final inspection, with exposure to suppliers, subcontractors, third-party inspectors and customers. The Role: As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure materials and products meet the required quality standards, engineering specifications and customer requirements before being released to production or despatched. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out Goods Inwards inspection of materials and components against purchase orders and technical requirements. Performing dimensional, visual and material traceability inspections. Reviewing Material Test Certificates (MTCs), inspection reports, testing documentation and certification. Carrying out in-process inspection across machining, fabrication, testing, assembly and packing.
