Quality Controller

Quality Controllers sought by a £multimillion pound food products manufacturer to join their team in Bilston. There are two roles available, 1 x AM and 1 x PM shift. AM shift: Mon to Fri 5.15am - 2.45pm PM shift: Tue to Thurs: 2.45pm - 10.45pm, Fri: 2.15pm - 10pm, Sat 8.30am - 5pm What will you be doing?As a Quality Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for implementing quality assurance processes, analysing production procedures, and adhering to HACCP guidelines to maintain product integrity and safety. Your daily Quality Controller duties will include: Ensure that the factory is complying with HACCP procedures and specifications, assessing quality, reporting any discrepancies where necessary Carry out critical control point (CCP) checks in accordance with their training, records of which must be retained on site. Shared responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the site HACCP plan. They have a shared responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the requirements of the BRCGS Standards. Reporting of any issues with the quality of the product and sending pictures where necessary to the Supervisor Raise any non-conformance activity with Quality and Production Management Carry out verification checks of calibration of measuring equipment (scales / checkweighers, etc.) in accordance with the QA schedule.
