Quality Control Engineer £40,000 to £45,000 Newton Abbot Full-time PermanentWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturer developing advanced adhesive solutions and high-performance materials for industries such as automotive, construction, and aerospace.This role is ideal for both experienced professionals and recent graduates with a passion for quality control, process improvement, and problem-solving.Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures.Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.Conduct product/material testing and analyse data for compliance.Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.Work closely with production, RandD, and supply chain teams.Support internal/external audits and maintain documentation.Resolve customer quality concerns promptly. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Quality, Manufacturing, Chemical, Aviation or related field).Applications welcome from both recent graduates and experienced professionals.Knowledge of AS9100 and IATF16949 is highly desirable.Familiarity with quality tools/methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
