The company plays a key role in supporting sustainable supply chains, handling high volumes of materials and ensuring quality standards are consistently met across operations.Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Quality Control Assistant to join their busy and hands-on site team.The RoleAs a Quality Control Assistant, you''ll be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing materials, monitoring processes, and ensuring products meet required standards before distribution. This is a varied, practical role that involves working across the yard and engaging closely with operational teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished productsSort and examine split loads and complete associated documentationCarry out basic testing and grading of materials (e.g. paper, cardboard, plastics)Assist with gravimetric testing using established proceduresIdentify and remove non-conforming materials, reporting any issues promptlySupport loading and unloading of containers and curtain siders (FLT use)Maintain accurate quality records and photographic evidence where requiredCarry out daily equipment checks and ensure a safe working environmentSupport general ..... full job details .....
