Job Role: Quality Control AssistantLocation: Deeside Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (overtime available) Salary: £13.39 per hour plus overtime Reporting to: Quality InspectorTemp to Perm immediate Start Available Role OverviewAspion are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Quality Control Assistant to support the inspection, testing, and handling of materials across site operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, and supporting the efficient movement and grading of materials.This is a hands-on role involving quality inspections, gravimetric testing, stock rotation, housekeeping duties, and the loading and unloading of containers and curtain-sided vehicles using a forklift truck.Key Responsibilities Carry out routine inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.Record inspection findings accurately and maintain organised quality control documentation.Assist with gravimetric testing using approved methods, equipment, and procedures.Load and unload containers and curtain siders safely using a forklift truck.Sort and inspect split loads and complete relevant documentation for the Weighbridge Administrator.Support stock rotation and maintain cleanliness and organisation across the yard and operational areas.Liaise closely with the Weighbridge Administrator regarding daily inbound and outbound ..... full job details .....
