The Role
- Coordinating the complete customer complaint process, ensuring thorough investigations, accurate root cause analysis, and professional, timely customer response letters.
- Managing Quality Management System documentation, operating procedures, controlled forms, and revision registers across electronic portals.
- Interacting with digital inspection apps to verify shop-floor line checks and ensure check data flows cleanly into the site Data Warehouse.
- Navigating and pulling operational insights from Power BI dashboards and Power Platform tools to track quality trends, defect rates, and improvement actions.
- Maintaining the site calibration schedule for testing equipment, booking external calibration engineers, and archiving compliance certificates.
- Managing quarantine and non-conforming stock records in business systems (COBIS), tracking stock holds, and processing authorised disposal logs.
- Supporting internal and customer audit preparation by collating compliance evidence dossiers and action trackers.
- Collaborating closely with Customer Services, Operations, and Warehouse teams to maintain independent quality gatekeeping and high standards.
- Supporting the site management team in ensuring we are always audit ready (external & internal audits), including working to SMETA and BRCGS standards.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, professional customer correspondence.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with structured investigation methods (e.g. 5 Whys).
- Ability to manage multiple administrative priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with high personal integrity and a "quality conscience".
