Quality Assurance TechnicianHarrogateAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established food manufacturing business in the Harrogate area as a Quality Assurance Technician.This role is ideal for either an experienced Quality Assurance professional within the food industry or a Food Science graduate with relevant placement experience looking to develop their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Reporting into the Quality team, you will play a key role in ensuring food safety, maintaining quality standards, managing customer complaints, and supporting compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain company quality controls, procedures, standards, specifications and policies in line with BRCGS Food Safety Issue 9 requirements.Work closely with production and operational teams to ensure quality procedures and systems are consistently followed.Monitor and report on quality performance and process compliance.Support internal audits and quality inspections.Assist in implementing and maintaining quality management systems across the business.Provide regular updates and recommendations regarding quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure customer quality requirements are met and maintained.Manage supplier quality requirements for raw materials and monitor supplier performance.Produce technical documentation, reports and quality records.Support training activities and promote quality awareness ..... full job details .....
