Quality Assurance Manager

W Talent are exclusively representing a food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.This is a site-based role in the Bradford area, responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance function and maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, legality and hygiene across the operation.The role would suit an experienced QA professional who enjoys a hands-on manufacturing environment, leading a team and working closely with Production and Operations to maintain and improve standards.Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the day-to-day QA function, supporting the team and ensuring quality systems and processes are consistently followed across the site.Working closely with Production, Operations and senior management, the role will involve maintaining the QMS, managing audits and non-conformances, supporting HACCP and food safety standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the Quality Assurance teamManage the day-to-day QA function and prioritiesMaintain and improve the Quality Management SystemEnsure compliance with SALSA and relevant food safety, quality and legal standardsSupport HACCP reviews and food safety initiativesInvestigate non-conformances, quality issues and customer complaintsLead root cause analysis and corrective actionsManage internal audit programmes covering GMP, hygiene, CCPs and quality systemsSupport external audits, ..... full job details .....
