Are you a QHSE Manager looking for a senior, high-impact role where you can lead quality and HSE strategy across a dual-site manufacturing operation? Do you want the responsibility to influence change at every level of the business, drive down defects, and embed a proactive culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement?

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of QHSE across a specialist heavy engineering company, producing high quality iron and steel castings for the wider engineering sectors.

You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure robust systems, high standards and a customer-focused culture. As QHSE Manager you will develop and implement policies, procedures and standards, lead risk assessments and audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.

The role offers genuine scope to make improvements that are visible across the business, from process controls and inspection standards through to training, engagement and operational discipline.

This role would suit an experienced QHSE professional from a heavy engineering / foundry background who wants senior ownership, the chance to lead people and projects, and the opportunity to shape standards, performance and culture across two sites.

The Role:

• Lead QHSE strategy across a dual-site foundry and manufacturing operation (44 hours per week)
• Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, audits and risk mitigation plans
• Lead and develop the quality team, driving cross-functional improvement to reduce defects
• Analyse quality data and trends (e.g., Excel/Minitab, FMEA) and implement corrective actions
• Act as key contact for clients, regulators and external auditors, ensuring compliance and standards

The Person:

• Proven QHSE leadership experience in heavy engineering / foundry or high-integrity manufacturing
• Strong ability to influence, drive change and lead cross-functional improvement projects
• Strong understanding of quality systems, audits, risk assessments and compliance requirements
