QC Team Leader

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a growing medical device manufacturer who are looking for a QC Supervisor / Team Leader to join their Leeds site. This is a hands-on role where you''ll lead a small Quality Control and Receiving Inspection team, making sure incoming materials and finished products meet the required quality and regulatory standards. The role Lead and support a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians. Allocate workloads and provide day-to-day technical guidance. Act as the escalation point for inspection issues and non-conformances. Carry out and oversee product testing, inspection and final release. Complete First Article Inspections (FAI). Support supplier and incoming inspection activities. Identify training needs and develop the team. Help drive improvements across quality and inspection processes. Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and other teams. About you We''re looking for someone with: Previous Quality Inspection/Receiving Inspection experience within a regulated manufacturing environment. Ideally, experience within medical devices, particularly Class II/III products. At least 3 years'' team leader/supervisory experience. HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Good knowledge of ISO 13485, EU MDR and FDA 21 CFR Part 820. Strong people skills and the confidence to make technical decisions.
