Purchase Ledger Team Leader Location: Wetherby (Hybrid Working) Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract - Immediate Start Salary:£50,000 - £60,000 The Opportunity Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a client based in Wetherby who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join their finance team immediately on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role managing a team of three Purchase Ledger Clerks, while continuing to support the day-to-day purchase ledger function. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you''ll take responsibility for workloads, accuracy and team performance, as well as getting involved in invoice processing and resolving queries. The business is also continuing to develop its use of automation and process improvements, so you''ll have the opportunity to support the team through a mixture of automated and manual processes. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and support a team of three Purchase Ledger Clerks. Manage workloads and ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timescales. Remain hands-on with purchase ledger processing, supporting the team during busy periods. Process high volumes of supplier invoices using both manual processes and automated invoice recognition systems. Match, batch and code invoices. Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
